In recent years the residential facilities at St Clement's Retreat and Conference Centre have been completely refurbished and can comfortably accommodate just over 100 participants in a range of accommodation. Every room has a view to the surrounding gardens or rural landscape.
The monastery building has twin ensuite rooms (air conditioned) or twin rooms (double + single) with shared bathroom facilities. A twin room has an ensuite fitted with facilities for the disabled. All rooms within the main building have telephones. Access to the rooms in the monastery is by lift or conveniently located stairs.
The nearby Retreat Centre was completely refurbished in early 2010 providing two flats, three double and thirty-one single air conditioned rooms with shared bathroom facilities on two levels. Disabled bathroom facilities are available on the ground floor. Access to the upper level is by stairs or external ramp - there is no lift.
Please note that there are no single
rooms with ensuite facilites.
All rooms are comfortably furnished, heated in winter, have electric blankets and access to tea making and laundry facilities. Towels and bed linen are provided.
Conveniently located to the main buildings is a fully self-contained rustic hermitage complete with an open fire and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The hermitage has a queen bed plus a sofa bed (if required).
The recently upgraded three bedroom lodge adjacent to Galong House can accommodate four people (queen bedroom plus two single rooms), has its own bathroom, airconditioned kitchen/sitting room and private verandah. A fifth person can be accommodated in a sofa bed. The lodge is ideal accommodation for a group of friends.
Plentiful, country style meals are served in the main dining room with delicious morning and afternoon teas available in the areas adjacent to the conference room. This year the Shamrock Dinner will be held on on Friday night in the 1850s Galong House. Please BYO refreshments for lunches and evening meals on Thursday and Friday.
Special diets - Vegetarian, diabetic and gluten-free diets only can be catered for and if required should be noted on the registration form.
